She likes painting since she was a child when she stayed in a rural area in Houaphanh province. Nothing to do, just drawing. She was drawing all she can draw, copied pictures from schoolbooks, anytime she could do, she drawn, she did it, but she did not know at that time that she can study drawing and painting, that in Vientiane, there was the National Institute of Fine Art, but Art seemed already to be innately inside her! In her naive childish desire, she just wanted to be able to draw better and better, to understand what attracted her to this discipline which ultimately remained mysterious to her.

At art school, she developed her own techniques, inspired in particular by Pollock and Van Gogh, a confusion of senses and colors! Colors shine in a graphic environment, as do the eyes of a person who smiles and lights up their face, she explained.

She explained that title of artwork must not confine it, define it, but, on the contrary,  leave freedom of interpretation to its observer, that’s why, maybe, she chooses and prefers abstract painting.

Even if an artist often works alone, her wish is to develop a dynamic of a group of artists, who may have very different styles, but who project themselves into a community of ideas. Thus, able to exchange, and learning from each other both about their critical view of each other’s work, and an exchange of techniques.

For her, Art is to convey, to a large audience, the feelings of an artist through the thinking and imagination of each one. Giving to artworks their own identity through the artists thoughts by expressing that feeling.

For her, abstract art reveals the imagination that lies dormant in each of us, and everyone feels free to see what they want, based on their own sensitivity and live experiences. For her, Art is a space of freedom that is specific to each artist, intimate, but that she wants to share it.
