During his childhood in a remote area near Luang Prabang, the sound of drums sounded the call of the storyteller who was going to tell a new chapter of the epic of Phralak Phralam which before long became his main inspiration source, to the point of falling in love with the main female character Nang Sida.

Although he started drawing or painting a long time ago, his awareness of the importance of art in his life came late. Encouraged to develop his skills by an uncle   who was art teacher, he took stock of his ability to handle pencils and brushes and decided to study Fine Arts.

Between the 3rd and 4th year of his studies at the Institute of Fine Arts in Vientiane, the revelation was made, frustrated at not putting his talent only for responding to his clients’ commissions.

Always inhabited by this monument of Laotian literature, the epic Phralak Phralam, the inspiration was transformed, as if the energy of the characters was transmitted to him to paint and express himself.

As with an actor, at the beginning when you begin to learn a role, we do not feel the strength of the character we should embody, then he gradually come in us to finally be able to express with energy the message he wishes to convey.

If the character of Thongsankan, one of his favorite characters, who seems to be the villain, when in fact he is not, bringing confusion of senses in the mind of each of us. For many he represents an allegory of fighting against injustice.

Hanuman’s anger helps Anousone to bear the injustices of contemporary society, to express them through his painting, his art, and thus gives him the dynamic to fight them and tend to build another future.

Thus, he simply explains that his artistic approach is like a symbol of the chaos in which our society finds itself and induces in the viewer the reflections necessary to change things.
